This paper reports the results of an evaluative research carried out with teachers of the Education Area of PUCPR with the purpose of evaluating how teachers perceive the improvement of academic quality. Scientific research was used as the guideline for the continued education of teachers in higher education - in undergraduate as well as in graduate programs.
