Desire of Biology undergraduates in obtain a master scientist degree and main variables which influence this decision were analyzed by logit model at 3 universities: UEG (Universidade Estadual de Goiás), UFG (Universidade Federal de Goiás) and UNITINS (Universidade do Tocantins). A questionnaire was used to collect economic and academic information as well the desire of the students in master scientist. Results show: i) 50% of the undergraduates has income of $320.00 or minus, and 40% of them work; ii) 61 % of the undergraduates want to be teachers; iii) post -graduate interest depends on undergraduate's age (how much age new, more probability) and opportunity in to make scientific initiation during undergraduation. Age was determinant also at UFG logit model. At UNITINS the interest in being a teacher and knows what is a master degree were the significant variables. Just income was significant for UEG.
