Abstract

This article proposes socializing a teaching experience for evaluation of Doctorate Theses and Master's Dissertations. It has as a background the criticism of the evaluation practice as an ideological mechanism for power perpetuation and the concern to avoid academic arbitrary attitudes. It proposes to take into consideration the theses and dissertations, in their public presentations, in daily tasks in graduate programs, as an essential element for verifying the relation between the "product" obtained with the "process" of social building of knowledge, in the specific teaching-learning at the graduate level.
