The purpose of this work is to approach the quality of evaluation, with an emphasis on thinking, feeling and acting. It emphasizes the complexity and the application of methods and techniques, as well as the merit and consequence of a given evaluation approach. It discusses standards, criteria, norms, indicators and its philosophical emphasis, as well as the sense and the purpose of evaluation, aimed at detecting the obstacles to success, proposals of alternatives for changes and solutions of problems, aiming at achieving better results. It points out evaluation' s formative dimensions in the perspective of human improvement, growth and development, both of the evaluator and of the evaluand.
