Abstract

The paper presents the organization of a Data and Institutional Quality Indicators System at the Federal University of Ceará, adopted from the base model used by the Organization for European Cooperation and Development (OECO). The work uses historical sequences with data and indicators of a quantitative nature divided into five groups: context, human and material resources, processes, products and management. Furthermore it studies the relevance and pertinence of the data and indicator system as a means for institutional assessment, besides helping the managers in the difficult task of evolving strategic planning.
