Contributions to institutional evaluation of extension programs dealt with in this article were produced by the Southeastern Chapter of the Extension Forum of University Provosts. It is hoped that the elements here developed contribute to the redefinition of pedagogical practice, articulating theory and practice, research and intervention vis-à-vis society's demands, leading to new ways of approaching the issue of articulating teaching, research and extension programs.
