This text aims to understand evaluation in the context of school and school in the context of society, based on writings and the Work School proposal by Pistrak, a Russian pedagogue that developed an experiment about school organization, establishing the difference in the manner of conducting and dealing with the pedagogical principles of the school as an institution. From this we can abstract the lesson of the fields of possibilities that mark the identity of the school institution. It allows a counterpoint for the analysis and reflection of what we do and how we organize the school, the self-organization of the students and the evaluation. Establishing other power relations between professors and students and leading to the reflection on the relations between school, evaluation and work.
