An understanding of the organizational dynamics of the university can be obtained by using the articulation of the bureaucratic and political analysis models in the assumption that the regulation of the organizational space can be made by admitting conjugated or opponent action between the bureaucratic and the political devices, from which derive a "bifacial model of analysis" where these two dimensions are conceived as regulation means of two facets. It admits that the political sphere creates a space for the participation of the actors according to other rationalities that breach with the bureaucratic order of the uniformity, creating disarticulations that are analyzed under metaphors that help us lo understand some aspects of the university organizational dynamics, based on different means of regulation, in which the bureaucracy and the politics become factors that have significant influence in the university governance.
