From 2012 - 2014, twelve universities and eleven non-governmental organizations in Europe and Latin America have constructed a network called RELETRAN (Latin American-European Network of Transnational Social Work) during seven general face-to-face meetings and several local and virtual meetings. The common denominator was to develop and implement training programs of "Community Social Work". This article takes up the process of transnational knowledge building. It focuses on the difficulties and challenges rose in that highly complex composition of participants when they want to build something in common.
