It is a research aimed at analyzing and systematizing the phases and the operationalization of the reform procedure of the curricular matrix of the Law School of the Federal University and to elaborate a synthesis and a report of the procedure to guide other curricular reforms. The Law School of University adopted a participative democratic procedure in the process of reforming the curricular matrix required by the 2018 National Curricular Guidelines. The methodology was qualitative, bibliographic and documental, as well as analytical and interpretative, because from the report of the experience lived in the first phase of the reform, an inspiring and propositional orientation was elaborated for other processes.
