Abstract

This paper tries to discuss some ideas on nature, since Plato, Atistotle up to the positivism and dialectical materialismo Aftewards, it discusses the scientific ideas on nature, begining from these two schools of philosophy, finishing with an anlysis of the ecology's nature, observing its strong positivistic and mechanicist component. Epistemological, methodological and ideological questions originated from this model are discussed.
