This article describes the aspects of Jean Piaget life that influenced the development of his Ideas and occurrences that demarcated three phasis of his theory. The goal is to understand and apply in math classes the three stages of the generic mechanism presents in all of the human's cognitive development: the intra-objectal the inter-objectal and the trans-objectal.
