The clarification and justification of the way scientific theories learn and do not learn about the real world have been treated as a question concerning the history and philosophy of science. It has been claimed that this should also be a query that the scientific education might suitably pursuit. The defense of one view of the scientific realism is shown to be an appropriate and consistent way of responding to that query.
