Resumen

The work proposes some consideration about continued formation, with emphasis on an up-dating course about scientific contents regarding health and environment , as well as the proposal to modify the attendants’ pedagogical practice after the course (Vianna, 1998). We searched if the teachers that attended the lectures, went to the laboratories and experienced the researchers’ daily activities came to modify their own way to see Science and have consequently shown some interest in altering their teaching practice. Based on the considerations presented by the attendants, we have established the following categories concerning permanent formation: considerations about teaching concept, adequacy and suggestions regarding the classroom, and the necessity of an opportunity to have a continued formation. We came to the conclusion that, in order to have a better permanent formation of Science teachers, we definitely need the interaction of Scientists’ Science and Classroom Science.
