The purpose of this study was to follow and to analyse a group of six teacher-researchers meetings and make clear the troubles they found to implement a methodology change in their teaching, in the context of evaluation. The discussions that appeared during the meetings presented expressive moments about reflections unleashed by troubles they found in conducting the practical activities developed during the in-service course they attended. In this course, the partakers could discuss and develop the thermodynamics activities role, emphasizing the teaching by investigation. Data analysis indicates that when the teachers work together, exchanging experiences, they can face the problems and find their solutions.
