This paper focuses the process of writing and reading in the first years of Elementary School science teaching and the initial and continued education of teachers who act, mainly, in the first cycle of schooling, based on a work supported by the action-research. This research’s main goal was to identify the processes and results during the realization of the activities connected to the process of reading and writing with/in Sciences, in partnership with a teacher, in order to verify in what terms it would be possible to occur the reorganization of her pedagogical practice. By using the narrative, this investigation allows a special reflection about the models and proposals that come from the continued education programs of our teachers.
