In this paper, we focus on some relevant aspects about the teaching and learning of the energy concept such as the energy conceptions of common sense and the relations between the energy transformations and environment, as well as it stands out the applicability of texts with historical approaches, and finally we also made use of an interdisciplinary text that relates energy to environment. About this text, we mentioned the possibility of such text lead the student to a better understanding of the essential notions about energy, through the contextualization of these historical, social, political, economical and environmental concepts.
