To connect the production of knowledge to the education is the great concern of the critical and emancipated environmental education. The collective perceptions and knowledge are essential in this construction. In this article, questions of quality of life are placed in the center of the argument that looks, less at the demand for improvements for the environment, and more at the mechanisms of the environmental educative action.
