One of the most important factors responsible for accidents that occur with venomous arachnids is the lack of information about the biology of these animals as well as accident prevention. Generally, this information is available in sixth year of basic education science's textbooks. Correct and sufficient information is very important for physical preservation of students. We analyzed science's textbooks approved by PNLD-2005 and verified that these books contain errors and insufficiencies, demanding a critical and detailed analysis by teachers.
