This paper analyses the interaction of teacher and students through the text “Nosso Universo” (Our Universe) which used in Physics classes for young and adult people. The approach combines science, technology and society and environmental aspects, such as global warming, ozone hole and water shortage. For this analysis, teacher and students arguments were separated into categories. Results concerning the tripartite relationship of teacher/student/text indicate the interaction produced the student motivation and their development as critical and reflective people able to act in their social environment.
