This article presents the results of research that analyzed teacher engagement in projects involving educational robotics. After identifying the projects, two questionnaires were prepared based on the dimensions of the Engaged Teachers scale, with adaptations. Data were analyzed using the Content Analysis technique. As a result, we identified five categories of teacher engagement: cognitive incentive to the student; emotional involvement; cognitive engagement; direct communication with co-workers and fostering student protagonism. The results show that teacher engagement can be found when there is collaboration with learning, a feeling of satisfaction, enchantment and enthusiasm, cognitive involvement, partnership with colleagues, and planning of activities focusing on student meaningful performance.

Keywords : Teaching practice; Teacher profile; Teacher's professional profile; Educational robotics.
