Abstract

CUNHA, Kariny Mery Araujo  and  FERREIRA, Luciana Nobre de Abreu. Teaching and learning processes from the perspective of Conceptual Fields Theory: a study in the Chemistry degree. Ciência educ. [online]. 2023, vol.29, e23033.  Epub Aug 16, 2023. ISSN 1980-850X.  https://doi.org/10.1590/1516-731320230033.

This study is part of a broader research project that focused on investigating a process in the initial training of Chemistry teachers from the perspective of the Theory of Conceptual Fields (TCF). This paper presents teaching-learning processes as a conceptual field based on the precepts of TCF, which we took as a theoretical and methodological reference. We analyzed the responses of two chemistry undergraduates to a questionnaire related to their conceptions about such processes with a view to addressing the evolution of their understanding thereof, in the light of TCF. The results suggest the possibility of considering teaching-learning processes as a conceptual field and the need to deal with them during teacher training to promote the appropriation of these processes by undergraduates.
