This study aims to discuss the evaluation which has been carried out on the Flow Correction Project developed in the State of Paraná. It aimed to analyze the advantages and limits in the point of view of students and teachers who participated in the program. It is pointed out that it is indispensable to discuss this thematic, once, on similar projects, that is, cycles, continued progression, acceleration and evaluation classes assume centrality when the focus which is being discussed might be the quality of education. It is alerted that it is imperative to provide the professors with theoretical assistance about the evaluation, as only withdrawing the formal evaluation to avoid the retention/ exclusion does not guarantee the learning/inclusion of students.
