We investigated the process of inclusion of students with disabilities in physical education classes, the school system Araputanga (MT). The research is qualitative-descriptive. Used as methodological tools: a literature review, documentary analysis, participant observation, semi-structured interviews with teachers of Physical Education. Children and adolescents on condition of disability are entitled to play, to experience the moving body as any person. It is specialized educational services for “handicapped individuals”, preferably in the regular education system, which can enable, but not guaranteed, participation in physical education classes. Promote the rethinking of pedagogical principles and practices in the field of Adapted Physical Education collaborates with the teacher, to act in school and other social spaces, with teaching and learning body movement for people with special needs.
