Resumen

The article discusses the pedagogical coordinator and its relation to be continuing formation of teacher in the school. Having as methodological indicator the qualitative research, the research sought to capture the perceptions of coordinators on teacher formation work developed in Municipal Schools of São Paulo. The text records a speech that attaches fundamental importance to pedagogical coordinator in formation at the school and has developed aspects involved in this process. Formation is seen as an inside out practice, influenced by school culture and by public policy proposals for teacher formation. As conclusion, the article highlights the importance of pedagogical coordinators engage teachers in the formation process, based on concept of protagonism of the professionals, face the inexorable mediation of public policy for teacher education.
