The article, presented at the "VII Seminário sobre a Produção do Conhecimento em Educação - Política Educacionaldo Século XXI: paradoxos, limites e possibilidades", 7-9 October 2013, Pontifícia Universidade Católica deCampinas, Brazil, discusses the relationship between knowledge, curriculum and pedagogy through Pragmatism,specifically through the ideas of North American philosopher John Dewey and his concept of coordination. The analysespoints to the need of understanding the knowledge and the curriculum in a pragmatic way, in relation to matters ofhuman concern.
