Abstract

MEDEIROS, Marilu Fontoura de. Swarming to infinity as a revolutionary practice: Desire in schools, production of singularities, and the ability to act. Educ. Puc. [online]. 2016, vol.21, n.2, pp.231-241. ISSN 1519-3993.  https://doi.org/10.5965/151939932112016012.

The aim of this article is to discuss the production of desire, based on the arguments of Deleuze and Guattari, during a trial run in a municipal school over the course of four years. We found desire as production, power and creation. The production of desire is a revolutionary nomadic proposal that has been established in schools in its multiple spaces and time and has developed from individual struggles, resulting in a unique, powerful and lacking search for unity in each school of the municipal education network. The trial runs included approximately 60,000 students and 5,000 faculty and staff members who are not governed by an ideological principle, dominant party rule or even the logic of the market, law, contracts or institutions.

Keywords : Desire production; Uniqueness; Singularities; Education and liberty..
