Abstract

DIAS, Liz Cristiane  and  BORUCHOVITCH, Evely. Self-regulated learning strategies and initial education of Geography teachers: A systematic literature review. Educ. Puc. [online]. 2020, vol.25, e204568.  Epub July 21, 2020. ISSN 2318-0870.  https://doi.org/10.24220/2318-0870v25e2020a4568.

Based on a systematic literature review, this article was aimed at assessing the investment in self-regulated teaching and learning strategies in Geography undergraduate courses. Data were collected from the following data sources: Scientific Electronic Library Online, Red de Revistas Cientificas de America Latina y el Caribe, España y Portugal, Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior, in Geography journals with Qualis A1, A2 and B1 classification of the last five years. The search for works resulted in a total of 154 articles. Of these, only 25 dealt specifically with the initial training of teachers and, of these, only 8 met the demands of the research. The results have shown the need for more investments in intervention programs addressing learning strategies and the need for further research to disseminate self-regulation in Geography.
