Abstract

PUENTE, Rosa María Tafur  and  SORIA-VALENCIA, Edith. Trends in graduate training in education: a literature review literature in Peru, 2012-2022. Educ. Puc. [online]. 2022, vol.27, e226530. ISSN 2318-0870.  https://doi.org/10.24220/2318-0870v27e2022a6530.

The article aims to analyze the trends that have been developing and that have been accentuated, during the period of the pandemic, in the formation of graduate education in Peru. Through a literature review, important characteristics are described as well as the experiences of Peruvian universities in relation to the following trends: (a) the generation of formative proposals that articulate undergraduate and graduate education; (b) the internationalization of graduate programs; (c) national and international accreditations; (d) diversification of graduate training proposals, (e) recognition of author rights and promotion of ethics in graduate research development, (f) creation of research groups; and (g) online training proposals. It is concluded that, despite being difficult times for universities, they are making efforts to optimize the educational service offered by graduate programs, which represents an opportunity for change and the beginning of new paradigms in their training proposals.
