Artificial Intelligence has been increasingly debated in academic settings. This work outlines reflections on knowledge production (and reproduction) in the face of AI interferences with the academic context. Based on a multi-referential look and permeated by a more essayistic point of view, this text is supported by authors from different areas such as language and technologies to discuss authorship, originality, ethical commitment in textual construction and the role of professors in knowledge achievement facing this resource. For the authors, AI is a resource that will need to be brought to the fore in the classroom, causing changes in the processes of guidance, production and monitoring textual productions in general, especially in the academic field.
