Abstract

CORREIA, Miguel  and  VAZ, Henrique. Academic trajectories of graduates in Education Sciences. Educ. Puc. [online]. 2023, vol.28, e238562.  Epub Feb 30, 2024. ISSN 2318-0870.  https://doi.org/10.24220/2318-0870v28e2023a8562.

The present research is grounded in the knowledge produced around the work in Education Sciences and aimed to explore the academic trajectories of former students of Education Sciences with a professional experience of more than 7 years. To this end, 21 sociological portraits were built to capture the academic trajectories and professional paths of these individuals. We proceeded to typify academic trajectories by constructing ideal-types from these portraits: linear, specialization, reformulation, and reconstruction. From a broad perspective, academic trajectories appear intertwined with professional paths, giving rise to profound reflections about the work in the field of Education Sciences.
