Abstract: We intend with the present paper an analysis of the development of the online learning environments, namely from the focus in its conception as an information and communication space to the interactional activity of the social networks of publication, learning and collective knowledge. To these, learning is supported by the online dynamic processes and contexts of collaborative construction of objects and narratives of knowledge that take place in the community, and by the integration of the social understanding in the elaboration of a common and shared practice. Starting from the view point that e-moderation is a regulatory process of online learning, through the organization  and dynamically of the online activities, we propose a new approach to the understanding of the advanced levels of the social interaction in the learning communities based in the collaborative mediation.
