Abstract This article reviews the field and the interest of the educational application of digital storytelling. Placing it in the tradition of storytelling as a form of human knowledge, the text give us some recent interpretations of the concept and as well a set of elements for its classification. Finally describes an experiment conducted with college students and their educational implications.
