Mobile phones pervasive presence in people's lives has changed significantly the lifestyles of today's society. In particular for young people, the ubiquity of mobile phones and frequent use of this technology are a central element of their lives. In informal learning, young people use mobile phones in an intensive and multifaceted way, using different features, managing different media and different representations of information, often collaboratively. However, the school remains the last stronghold in the resistance to its use. Why not use the full technological and motivational potential of mobile phones in formal education? This article presents a case study on the use of mobile phones in schools. Its purpose is to identify and analyze the features that young people already use on their phones and offer educational applications based on those uses.
