The construction of a class blog in the classroom is a strategy for learning English as a foreign language (EFL) in which the development of the four skills is considered: reading, listening, speaking and writing. The blog stands out to be a tool with characteristics that allow the creation of an environment where students participate actively in their own learning process as far as they get involved in real activities or simulations very close to the real ones where collaboration and interaction are naturally required. Besides the development of the communicative competence in the foreign language, the integration of attitudes such as autonomy, reflection and responsibility in students´ behavior are evidence revealed in the study carried out with level 4 of English high school students.
