The information and communication technology (ICT) growth has contributed to an ideological shift in the way we look to the education and, specially, the learning process. The educational use of the Web 2.0 services has developed communication, sharing and collaboration through the adoption of new approaches and methodologies. With the Sapo Campus project we developed an integrated platform of Web 2.0 services supported by the University de Aveiro (UA). Our main goal is to promote and disseminate the use of this kind of services in higher education contexts in order to promote the lifelong learning. In this paper, we aim at characterizing the Sapo Campus platform and presenting some preliminary results about its use. The results, in one hand, provide support to the changes and improvements that have been introduced and, in the other hand, they allow to look at the learning process and the way the community experiences it.
