Abstract

In this paper we propose an approach of models and activities of participation and collaborative mediation in online education and innovation in the Digital Society, addressed to the pedagogical change in the scaffolding development of individual and collective social and cognitive representations of learning and knowledge communities. In this framework, we analyse the scaffolding development routes and also the receptiveness of the cultural landscapes and knowledge narratives, particularly of the blurring of boundaries between formal and informal education. This is namely through the pedagogy of participation in social and cognitive mediation practices, as a means for the development and sustainability of innovation processes. This study is thus a contribution to the development of thinking on the pedagogical change in emerging scenarios of online learning and education.
