This article discusses some educational aspects of the relationships between Information and Communication Technology and Physical Education. We analyze the presence of ICT in the curriculum of undergraduate courses in Physical Education and the inclusion of ICT and Physical Education thematic in research groups. Possibilities of using ICT in physical education classes emphasizing the mobile devices potential are discussed. It is concluded that the inclusion of ICT in curricula, research groups and educational proposals of Physical Education is still discrete, although a significant potential and an urgent need is observed face of changes that are occurring in contemporary society.
