Abstract

CHITOLINA, Renati Fronza; NORONHA, Fabrícia Py Tortelli  and  BACKES, Luciana. Educational robotics as a technology that enhances learning: from the natural sciences to the computer sciences. Educ. Form. Tecnol. [online]. 2016, vol.9, n.2, pp.56-65. ISSN 1646-933X.  https://doi.org/10.1549/1646933Xv9n22016010600056.

This article aims to investigate the educational robotics contribuction in the knowledge construction of students from two different levels of classes - a Middle School Class and a Undergraduate group of two Rio Grande do Sul educational institutions. Of qualitative approach and applied nature, aimed to explain the contributions of the educational robotics use for the knowledge construction in different areas: Physics and Programming. The analysis of the data allows to affirm that the educational robotics use has provided the students of both Middle and Undergraduate Education to articulate the theoretical field and the practical field and, therefore, to experience knowledge in a more concrete and meaningful way for learning. The proposal brings a strong interaction appeal that makes the student learn to work in a group and develop important processes such as cooperation and collaboration between peers.
