Abstract

VILLALUSTRE MARTINEZ, Lourdes  and  DEL MORAL PEREZ, Maria Esther. Perceptive games with augmented reality to work scientific content. Educ. Form. Tecnol. [online]. 2017, vol.10, n.1, pp.36-46. ISSN 1646-933X.  https://doi.org/10.1549/1646933Xv10n120173646.

The use of digital technologies for the creation of three-dimensional content has spread in different areas (industrial, military, commercial, etc.). In the educational context, augmented reality (AR) generates great possibilities to facilitate the process of compression and assimilation of new contents through the use of different devices (cameras, 3G connectivity, etc.). The AR adds a new plane to the vision of the real world by adding complementary information, through the overlap of virtual 3D objects. This phenomenon generates an illusion in which objects of the real and virtual world coexist, achieving that, from a perceptive game, it is possible to promote a closer approach to reality. Thus, throughout this work are presented some of the applications that are currently being implemented at different levels of education to develop scientific competence, given its great didactic potential and its ability to arouse interest and motivation among students. Not without first, to approach augmented reality as a new phenomenon that modifies and enriches the perception of the world around us, as well as its contribution to favor especially the understanding of facts and scientific phenomena.
