Abstract

This study focuses how the information technology can assist people with disabilities that possess difficulties in the learning and reasoning, since the information technology, when used of planned and well structuralized form allows greater absorption of concepts and cultural growth. This growth aims to understand the formation of all kinds of disabilities - visual, mental, auditory, paraplegia etc. For people with disabilities this reality is more important, therefore they will not be excluded from the society, that currently lives this new age of the information and globalization, where the technology change at every moment. By an integrated approach of the sistematic method, the present study searched to understand the Project of the Center of Attendance the People with Disabilities /SMAC (CAPD), looking to analyze how the information technology can transform the socio and cultural life of these individuals. Half-structuralized interviews had been used, for analisys of the phases of the development and change of the reality of the involved ones. The factors that prove the viability and the efficiency of the technologies in the routine of the people with disabilities and its familiar ones had been identified.
