REVAH, Daniel. A linguagem do corpo e o lugar do educador. ETD [online]. 2007, vol.08, suppl., pp.90-118. ISSN 1676-2592.

In the seventies, in the Brazilian educational discourses, which were related to alternative education, the word posture became one of the significant, perhaps the most meaningful word that situated the place of the educator. By the end of the next decade this word was submitted to the new pedagogical discourse - the constructivism - but not anymore as part of the broad record of alternative experiences, which had emerged from political and cultural criticism. From that time on posture was conceived as a result of the understanding and the assimilation of a theory developed according to scientific standards. In the middle of the nineties, when constructivism acquired clear technical features, the place of the teacher suffered a new inflexion and everything related to his posture vanished. This article recovers some elements of the mentioned trajectory to point out the place of the educator in connection with the features and the significant words that define this professional, concerning body and its language.
