Abstract

The present work brings a discussion about experiences in “Escola Normal de Campinas” and representations of these experiences, by person that lived them in the investigated period. Trying to get the movement of continuities and ruptures, that articulate to signs and vestiges of the condition and of the social relations among people, the related experiences and their representations are symbols of one age. Their uses explain the movement of the School constitution of the School outline, in a time and in a institutional space in which we trusted in the school and in its power of cultural transformation to moralize and educate the population.
