This text aims at presenting and discussing some issues concerning the area of Educational Psychology and its interaction either with the psychologist in education, or with teaching it high school. From the critics raised in the Psychology area during the 1980s, it was considered fundamental to comprehend the historical and social dimensions of the psychological subject’s constitution. This conception has guided the actions of the psychologist in the field of teaching psychology, building new references in this area.
