Resumo

The objective of this work was to investigate the position of four professors of the initial series of basic education, in activities of the physical knowledge, lessons of Sciences. Detaching the actions facilitate pedagogical of the social interactions in this process of construction of the knowledge. The theoretical picture was based on the Genetic Epistemology of Jean Piaget and the inquiry if it delineated as a qualitative study, of descriptive character of the analyses carried through from systematic comments and interviews carried through with professors in accordance with the principles of the piagetian clinical boarding. The collected data indicate the importance of the interventions of the professor in the work with the physical knowledge and point to the estimated one that the professors whom they use of half empiristes, they do not know the form as if of the a acquisition of the physical knowledge and little they value the paper of the social interactions in the involved situations in this process. However, it is possible to evidence the differences that mark the professors who beyond the theoretical knowledge on the subject, assume a constructiviste position search the constant promotion of inquiries, experimentations and encourage the social interactions between the children.
