This text is an analysis dedicated to think about the making and the use of images and audiovisual material in researches on the education field. It has as a start point the assumption that as researcher, we can produce images/audiovisual material, and presents the idea that we always need to ask ourselves the real sense in producing it. This meaning search is presented here in a combination between science and arts, with their specificities that, together, allows the problematizing, in a way that the images/audiovisual material theme, brought by demands of research activities, wins new dimensions in the field of arts and contemporary cultural production.
