This research sought from autobiographical narratives of young people in traing for teachers making a comparative survey of conditions in wich has been developed the ludics pratices of three generations; studentes of pedagogy of Federal University of Ceará, his parents and grandparents. The research is based on two sets of concerns: the question about the role of ludic practices in the constitution of childhood and consequently in educational practices and the role of autobiographical discourse in teacher education. The theoretical references of the socio-anthropology of the game and the sociology of childhood; the historiographical approach of the toy and the autobiographical search, making dialogue object and method points to the inseparable relationship between research and training. The methodological procedure provides for the redemption of ludic experiences of the past, by a group of students of Playful Practices, Cultural Identity and Child Education of the Pedagogy course of UFC, through the preparation of written autobiographical narratives about their childhood memories, their parents and grandparents. The results point to an intense involvement of the subjects in the construction of narratives that, while it gave visibility to historical relativity of forms of play, allowed a reconfiguration of the past for itself and above all an objective reading of social bonds engender the enabling a formation course self-referenced
