Abstract

GARBIN, Mônica Cristina. Analysis of collaborative audiovisual production: an innovation experience in an elementary school. ETD [online]. 2011, vol.12, n.03, pp.227-251. ISSN 1676-2592.

The aim of this paper is to examine how the collaboration took place between students and teachers to build an educational video in an elementary school located in Campinas. Therefore, we organize our work into three phases: the first one correspond to the creation of materials to be used in our field research, the second relates to the field work (observations and interviews with the subjects), and the third relates to establishing parameters for data analysis and the analysis itself. Furthermore, the school research, conducted during the years 2009 and 2010, was divided into two phases: the first one we worked with high school teachers and students and in the second one we worked with teachers and students from the second cycle of basic education. During data analysis we used our literature research to help us to identify the found processes in our collected material, characterizing them as collaborative or not. At the end of the study we have noted that the process of collaboration between students and teachers requires a change of attitude from them.
