The Butoh Dance has introduced to the Western world intriguing methods of constructing of scenic presence, contaminating incisively the training processes of actors and dancers. But beyond that, the course of archaeological investigation into the materiality of the "body of flesh", as suggested by this dance, can also present us interesting matrixes for radically rethink the education of the body, precisely in the friction between flesh, poetry and politics.
