This text aims to bring to discussion the movement of secondary students from public schools in Paraná, as a result of breakouts in 2016, due to the Provisional Act No. 746/2016, which, among other issues, aimed at reforming the provision of Secondary Education, and the Proposal that culminated in the Constitution Amendment No. 95/2016, which establishes a ‘new fiscal adjustment’, freezing public spending for a period of 20 years. For this, we seek help in Antonio Gramsci’s thinking to understand the ongoing political and social actions and problematize the contradictions evidenced both in the occupation of schools and in the voluntary or imposed disoccupation by the Judicial Branch due to actions of repossession.
